  1. Fun fact: they taste like pineapples. Posted 4 years ago
    1. have you tried them before? Posted 4 years ago
      1. Of course. I have eaten a bunch of different insects. In my opinion, termites are much tastier when eaten raw. When cooked, the flavor changes. Posted 4 years ago
        1. :O I suppose it is really surprising to me as you are so resistant to taste or eat mushies! :D This may be a way for me to eat something pineapple-y without going to an emergency clinic :D Posted 4 years ago, modified 4 years ago
          1. Haha! The texture of mushrooms is very troublesome for me. It's too rubbery. And, milkcaps are just nasty because of the milk aspect. Most insects that I have eaten have been cooked and/or used as ingredients. I like the crunch ;P. I don't think I could ever eat a big fat grub though - unless it was roasted and goo-free. 1. Trying some termites would be a nice, small snack for you. But, have your benadryl ready as you never know. Posted 4 years ago
            2. Jason can't eat Lactarius/lactifluus species or any type of puffball!! So I just leave them be. He gets severe lower stomach cramps when he eats them! I don't like touching many Lactarius as the latex smells fishy and awful. Posted 4 years ago, modified 4 years ago
              1. Bummer! But, I wouldn't eat them anyway. Nastiness. Puffballs taste like mushroom-flavored marshmallows. I am very high-maintenance when it comes to food. Posted 4 years ago, modified 4 years ago
                1. If cooked properly, they can taste pretty delicious on things like pizzas :) Posted 4 years ago
                  1. Okay. But, no. ;P Posted 4 years ago
