  1. What a striking and gorgeous moth! Posted 4 years ago
  2. Beautiful! It looks like Pseudatteria sp. I'm not sure which one, maybe Pseudatteria heliocausta. Posted 4 years ago, modified 4 years ago
    1. Certainly Pseudatteria sp. Wiki sugests P. heliocausta is endemic to Colombia. Could be it. Not many of the options seem to have the scattered spots at the bottom. Posted 4 years ago, modified 4 years ago
    2. @Peter: Fantastic moth, what a feast to the eye!

@Christine: Great job on the genus. Species seem to be hard to tell apart. I'd add Pseudatteria volcanica as a possible candidate, but really not sure.

      1. I was looking at volcanic too. My subject has lots of back spots I'm not seeing so far. Posted 4 years ago
        1. Agreed, unsure if variability or a completely different species. Posted 4 years ago
          1. Agreed and agreed...can't seem to find an exact match and am wondering about variability within species. Posted 4 years ago
  3. Very nice looking species! Posted 4 years ago
