A Common Sawfly This, I believe is Tenthredo notha or brevicornis - very difficult to separate out of 4 species including schaefferi or arcuata, however I think I've got it down to 2 - I'm awaiting advice confirmation from the UK biological records site. "Tenthredo notha" is a species belonging to the family Tenthredinidae subfamily Tenthrediniinae.
