      Thanks, Ferdy. I must have gotten lucky :D

      This is the product of Jason and me finding ways around my health issues (and the fatigue/weakness that goes along with them). We came up with the idea of me sitting under hickory and oak trees (and staying fairly stationary) and just rummaging in leaves. Jason does all the foot work and brings me back galls and mushies he finds nearby. I've been finding galls and overwintering insects (like the beautiful lacewing and cockroach i posted). This method reminds me a lot of my surveying days in my Ecology class in college.       Posted 4 years ago, modified 4 years ago
