If you open it full screen, you'll notice it has tons of detail. Yet at the same time, the field of view is limited. Ideally, you'd have the entire insect at this magnification and detail level. That's actually possible, just extraordinarily time consuming:
On my stack setup, I can only move forward and backward, so you're stacking depth. In the video, they keep the camera steady, it never moves. Instead, they move the insect. Up/down, side ways, basically create multiple stacks, which are then stitched together, similar to a panorama photo.
