
Penthicodes farinosa is a species of bugs in the sub family Aphaeninae (Fulgoridae): with five subspecies distributed in Indo-China and Malesia.

I think you're theory of it being a gape is solid though. Would be an odd position for an ocelli if the purpose is to collect light, with a massive real eye directly above it. Posted 4 years ago, modified 4 years ago
