Halyomorpha halys - Female Female H. halys found on indoors on the wall of a 12th floor apartment (put it on some bark for a nicer background)<br />

I was somewhat (pleasantly) surprised to find this one in a hollow wall that I took down while doing some construction work - already seeking out a spot to hide for winter in august?<br />

Somewhat surprising to me that these try to find their winter quarters so high up.<br />
This time I took a quick &quot;upskirt&quot; image to detemine the sex ... it&#039;s a girl! <br />

The brown marmorated stink bug is an insect in the family Pentatomidae, native to China, Japan, and other Asian regions. It is now established in many parts of North America, and has recently become established in Europe and South America.
