    1. Hi Ferdy, they are called cerci and act as sensors. Sensitive to slight air movements around them, covered in socketed hairs, each hair has a preferred stimulus direction determined by the attachment site - amazing. Ensuring an advantage in regard predators. Posted 4 years ago
