Queen Butterfly / Danaus gilippus thersippus Originally I thought this was a Monarch and realized it is probably a Queen Butterfly.<br />

      1. Yes, when its 3 words, its trinomial, meaning a sub species. Unfortunately, the system does not distinguish between species and sub species, therefore we identify at species level.

        You're still encouraged to mention a full sub species name in the title/description.

The Queen Butterfly is a North and South American butterfly in the family Nymphalidae with a wingspan of 70–88 mm. It is orange or brown with black wing borders and small white forewing spots on its dorsal wing surface, and reddish ventral wing surface fairly similar to the dorsal surface.
