    1. Great suggestion, Chytonix elegans and Chytonix mniochroa both seem very close. They are hard to tell apart yet Chytonix mniochroa looks better for matching the white hairs near the head.

      That said, perhaps the genus has even more look-a-likes.

      Lithacodia sp. has a few half matches too, but Chytonix looks much better.

      2. Agreed. And, just saying, but I feel like the moths are getting more and more difficult to ID! Am I alone in this, lol?! The diversity is really mindblowing. Posted 4 years ago
