Wolf spider (?) at Kirindi forest floor An enormous spider found at night on the Kirindi forest floor. It has the general appearance of a wolf spider, but I am not sure about the species. Note that in reality it does not look this orange, this is the result of the guide&#039;s flash light.<br />

Given that we have walked this forest in darkness for many hours, it is kind of intimidating to realize what we have passed by on the floor, given that in search of lemurs our flash lights are aimed at the trees, not the floor :) Kirindy Reserve,Madagascar Click/tap to enlarge

Wolf spider (?) at Kirindi forest floor

An enormous spider found at night on the Kirindi forest floor. It has the general appearance of a wolf spider, but I am not sure about the species. Note that in reality it does not look this orange, this is the result of the guide's flash light.
