  1. Wow, Ferdy, in thumbnail mode I was in the Shire, hiding under some tree roots! Wow, fascinating composition, beautiful selective colouring. A definite favourite for me! Cold blooded, I did not think of that. That's why it did not hide when you took your 105mm shot up close. Thanks for sharing that info.

In short: thanks for sharing this beauty!

  2. Wow you must have really enjoyed your time in Madagascar it looks like an incredible experience! My biggest regret is missing an opportunity to go there for some research! Posted 11 years ago
    1. It's never too late! Madagascar easily is the most memorable country we ever visited, and we visited a few spectacular ones already. Posted 11 years ago
  3. Ferdy, Love this shot and rendering. I would like to see the original. Please send via private email.

    1. Thanks, man. I have to admit that looking back at this old photo, it embarrasses me a bit. The selective coloring is too obvious as well as sloppy. Seems needless too.
May take me a while to find the original, given the age of the photo.

      1. Ah com'on son! The processing is great. Sometimes looking back over old photos allows us to see changes in our outlook on life and where we are vs where we have been over the years in style. I think this shot has a lot of potential and it would be cool to see how you reprocess it differently today, if at all different. Posted 7 years ago
        1. Fair point! Whenever I'll find it, I'll reprocess it and send you both the original and processed version :) Posted 7 years ago
