
Unknown Coral Fungus (Possibly Phaeoclavulina sp.)
Trying to get help with this ID! Found in a mossy valley at a mixed forest edge (pines to one side, hardwoods to the other). Milk chocolate in color with white tips. Pulls apart like string cheese and has a white interior and a sweet, pleasant smell. Gordon County, Georgia, US. September 1, 2020.
