Paragus pecchiolii

Paragus pecchiolii

''Paragus pecchiolii'' is a species of hoverfly.
Hoverfly - Paragus pecchiolii This weekend I spent two mornings chasing small insects collecting pollen from my wife's dill, which she grows on our balcony. I was surprised to find out that I have photographed 3 or 4 species. This is the first one, the rest still to be identified - two masked bees, Hylaeus sp., one wasp or bee. In the beginning I didn't realize they are different species - at first glance they all look the same.
