Paropsis confusa is a leaf beetle found in central southern Australia.

Appearance

About 10mm long.
Base colour is greyish white which is lightly patterned with spots of tan, brown and black.
Two larger spots midway down the inner elytra can have a red spot in the centre of dark. This might also appear on the 'shoulders' which are slightly raised.

Distribution

Found in much of eastern South Australia and western Victoria.

Habitat

Unusually for the genus this one is found on Broombush (Melaleuca uncinata)
