
Appearance
Erect stem, lemon-scented. Bristles or soft hairs on lower part of stem. Upper stem has hairs tipped with glands. Leaves on stalks, hairy with black glands on upper surface. Flower heads openly clustered with 5–12 greenish yellow ray flowers surrounding black-anthered yellow disk flowers.
Distribution
Occurring east of the Cascades crest in Washington; Washington south to California, east to Nevada.Habitat
