Habitat

The habitat consists of sunny glades and clearings in secondary forests and plantations. It is also found along roadsides, riverbanks and other sheltered grassy habitats at elevations up to 400 metes.
Oriens Gola pseudolus - Common Dartlet A low level flyer found on grassy scrubland. Difficult to photograph, although plenty of opportunities, with the large population, will be had.

The butterfly usually waits until you have lay down on the ground for the shot. You will be just about ready to fire, when the skipper will hop over to a close by bloom. Not however, close enough for you to avoid having to get up again. This will repeat several times, until you realize that the butterfly is taking the mickey.

Once you get back to the lab, you will discover that the butterfly has about 20 cousins that all look almost identical.

Location is Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Scrubland.
