Boisduval's Autumn Moth

Oenosandra boisduvalii

The Boisduval's Autumn Moth is a moth of the Oenosandridae family and only member of the "Oenosandra" genus. It is found in the southern half of Australia, including Tasmania. The wingspan is about 50 mm.
Boisduval's Autumn Moth ♂ (Oenosandra boisduvallii) An unusual Noctuid moth with strong sexual dimorphism. The males also express variation with the background colour being from black to white. Consisyently showing the small speckles like glitter however.
