Castiarina xanthopilosa is an Australian species of jewel beetle. It was described by Hope in 1847.
Jewel beetle (Castiarina xanthopilosa) Another great looking jewel beetle with eight yellow patches on a dark chocolate background plus a continuous yellow line right round the elytral margin. Pale to white underneath with long white setae. 
About 14mm long.
