Threadlike Eria is an epiphytic orchid with pseudobulbs 1.5 cm in diameter.
Dalzell's Eria (Conchidium filiforme) Dalzell’s Eria is a small perennial (long-living) Orchid species. The species develops leaves by July and flowering and fruiting follows. Flowers are yellowish to green in color and look like comb. By the end of monsoon, the plant becomes dormant for the rest of the year and returns to life in the next monsoon. Appearance

Leaves are 3 or 4, 5-7 x 1 cm, inverted-lanceshaped, tip blunt with a tiny point. Flowers are borne in racemes up to 10 cm long. Flowers are greenish-yellow, sepals nearly similar, lanceshaped, long-pointed, margins with stalked glands, 3-veined. Petals are slightly, narrower than sepals, lip 3 x 1 mm, sickel-shaped panduriform, minutely papillate. Disc has 2 thick yellowish orange ridges.
Flowering: September-December.
