Ant with finger print pattern!! On a winter night while i was photographing a termite hill gecko in the dry deciduous forest of baneerghatta, Vipin showed this ant with finger print pattern on it. It was moving very fast and the ants were scattered looking for prey. It was very difficult to photograph an individual ant that moves in haphazard manner. One of these ants preyed on a helpless termites- will post the same some other day. Id help needed! A heavily cropped image!!
