The Green Comma is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is found in North America.

The wingspan is 45–64 mm. The butterfly flies from May to September depending on the location.

The larvae feed on Upland Willow , ''Betula lenta'', Alder, ''Rhododendron occidentale'', and ''Ribes'' species.

Naming

Most similar to the Eastern Comma , but it can usually be distinguished by the irregular wing margins and the submarginal row of green spots on the underside.
