Appearance

Leaves: 5-6, up to 19 cm long, 4-7 cm long, above mottled dark and yellow green, below pale green
Inflorescence: 1-flowered, up to 31 cm long, maroon, pubescent
Bloom: 9-13 cm wide

Naming

Named for Sir Trevor Lawrence, avid orchid grower and president of the Royal Horticultural Society.

Habitat

It is found on limestone rocks and in leaf litter at elevations of 300 to 500 meters with terete.
