Kretania nichollae

Kretania nichollae is a butterfly in the Lycaenidae - Blue Butterflies - family. the host plant are several Astragalus (Milkvetch) species. it is named after a British lepidopterist and mountaineer - Mary De la Beche Nicholl, who was the first to discover this butterfly in the Hermon Mountain. she published a book about Lebanon Butterflies.
