Chalcophorella stigmatica is a beetle in the Buprestidae family. The elongated oval beetle is 22 to 29 millimeters long and seven to eleven millimeters wide. The color of the upper surface can be blue or green, coppery, brown or black, as well as dull or glossy. The underside is usually much lighter and shiny copper-red. The beetle is only slightly curved. The entire top is heavily dotted, the base of the dots is light.
