Appearance

Scape with 7-20 cm.

Leaves 3-10(-15), 14-40 x 1-2 mm, linear to linear-lanceolate, sub-rolled or caniculate, or 2-8 mm wide and flat. Flowers 2-25, white, arranged in a corymb, with 12-24 mm tepals and green dorsal longitudinal stripe; stamens with broad filaments; large pedicels (up to 5 cm), patent after anthesis. It bears an ovate-oblong capsule, measuring 7-12 mm and three pairs of obtuse longitudinal strands.
