
Appearance
The Adelpha iphicleola is a butterfly with a wingspan of about 45 mm to 53 mm, with a brown upperside with a yellow area near the apex of the fore wings, a small yellow spot at the anal angle of the hind wings, and a wide white band between them. The reverse is striped with copper and pinkish-white bands with veins underlined in copper and the same white band as on the top.Distribution
It is found in Mexico, Panama, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, Cuba, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil and Peru. Its presence in Guyana and Guyana needs to be confirmed.References:
