Distribution
The species is native to Cyprus, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Lebanon, Syria, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia, and in countries that used to made up Yugoslavia. It is also native to Western Sahara. In Egypt among winter weeds this species is rare.References:
