Appearance

The adult moths of this species are brown, with a distinctive pattern of wavy white lines on each forewing. The hindwings are pale brown, each with a vague paler line across the middle. The females have threadlike antennae. The males have antennae with a feather-like fringe on one side. The wingspan is about 3 cm.
