Mycena seynii is a small fungi that grows on pine cones. Cap: 3 - 5cm in diameter. The cap can range through violaceous tints to crimson brown. Pointed with a paler margin that gives a pleated appearance.

Appearance

STIPE: Concolorous with cap, fibrillose and glabrous.
GILLS/PORES: Gills are evenly spaced and pale pinkish with a brownish edge.
FLESH: Watery and having no distinct odour or taste.
SPORES: Strongly amyloid.
HABITAT: Strictly on fallen Pine Cones.
