Mophead Iguana

The Mophead Iguana is a lizard of the family Tropiduridae. It is the only species in the monotypic genus Uranoscodon. The body color is brown, the legs and tail are relatively long. The body length is about 15 inches, but the tail is twice as long.
The Mophead Iguana is a species that tolerates low temperatures, the iguana is much in the shade and even avoids sunlight. Its food consists of small invertebrates. The iguana is found in northern South America, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname and Venezuela.
