Appearance

It is a herbaceous perennial plant growing to 10–25 cm tall, with alternate, oblong-lanceolate leaves 5–12 cm long and 2–4 cm broad. The flowers are produced on a 5–10 cm panicle, each flower with six white tepals 2–4 mm long.
