Appearance

Henosepilachna boisduvali has 12 spots (6 on each elytrum) with the two pairs of spots along the suture NOT touching the suture (or each other for that matter), separating it from the otherwise very similar looking (and more polymorphic) Epilachna admirabilis Henosepilachna kaszabi and Henosepilachna indica.

Distribution

Henosepilachna boisduvali is distributed throughout India, Japan (Ryukyu Islands), Taiwan, Vietnam, Philippines, Peninsular Malaysia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Australia (Queensland).
