
Appearance
Callibracon capitator has a reddish head, all black thorax, and gaster with large white membranous regions either side early and the later segments banded white. The wings are dark and the females have their ovipositors just longer than their abdomen.
Behavior
Braconid wasp’s larvae are parasitic and most caterpillars are targeted host’s but several species are also known to parasitise concealed beetle, fly and sawfly larvae.The larvae of this wasp is known to parasite on Longicorn beetle larvae.
