False oxlip

Primula veris x vulgaris

Primula veris x vulgaris is a hybrid between cowslip & primrose. Although the parents have different ecological requirements they can be found in close proximity. Naturally occurring hybrids (including back-crosses) may be found on woodland rides and edges, in scrub, hedgerows and on roadsides verges.
