Suillus paluster is a basidiomycete fungus in the family Suillaceae.
Suillus paluster (obsolete syn. Fuscoboletinus paluster) The underside of Suillus paluster (Red Bog Bolete, Rosy Larch Bolete) showing pores. Younger specimens are yellow below but with age become brown. Mycorrhizal with tamarack.

Appearance

Yellow pores brown w/age, go down the stem, DNS, & have radial ridges. Pink- to red-purple cap. Stem is pore-colored high & cap-colored below.
