Appearance

Length 3-4.5 mm; Scaling non-metallic; thighs imperforated; claws at the base not fused; Tip of the trunk distinctly arched, covered with broad coppery scales; Pronotum much wider than the head and eyes, on the sides with large navel points; Legs reddish-yellow, thigh rarely darkened in the center; Scales on the elytra are rather small.
