Stout, erect ramicauls enveloped by 8 to 11 ciliate lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, acute, shortly acuminate, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on 1 to 2, loose, longer than the leaf, distichous, flexuous, 10 to 10.4" [25 to 26 cm] long including the .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3 cm] long peduncle, successively single, several flowered inflorescence.Distribution
