Paropsisterna gemina

Paropsisterna gemina

Paropsisterna gemina is a cryptic beetle in the Chrysomelinae subfamily.
Paropsisterna gemina Gemina means twin (gemini)
This beetle is the Adelaide form of nigerrima but described as its own species Dr Chapuis who lived there. The size is smaller than nigerrima and the interstices are more convex, usually. They look the same to m. The genitalia are similar and a good case can be made for synonymy. Australia,Geotagged,Paropsisterna gemina,Summer
