Barbitistes serricauda

Green color (sometimes brown), body dotted with brown to black spots sometimes so abundant that make the animal almost black. A stripe starts in the area of the ear and traverses the lateral lobe of the pronotoum, continuing through the lateral edge of the tegmen and through the abdomen. The antennae can be 2-3 times longer than the body. The male is 14-20 mm long and the female 16-25 mm. The latter shows a curved and dented ovipositor on its rear end.
