Fiery Clearwing - Pyropteron chrysidiformis Female of the Fiery Clearwing (Pyropteron chrysidiformis - often alternatively spelled as chrysidiforme). I've only ever found females in the same garden in France and quite a few of them, so either the population is parthenogenetic or a the very least the male-female ratio is extremely skewed.
