Ophicrania palinurus is a species of stick insect from the Phillipines. They are slim and mostly green with yellow spots/markings on the head (more prominent on the males). Males also have blue lateral lines on his wings.

The Male is the smaller one, on top of the Female.

Male has yellow spot on top of his head, with blue stripes running by the side of the body, wing cover is black. End of abdomen is brownish/red in colour. He has full wings and is capable of flight.

Female has 2 small spots on her head, mostly green in colour. Females have half wings and are not capable of flight.

Distribution

This species is found in Luzon Island and is endemic to the Philippines.
