Appearance

The rhinophores are flecked with cream and the gills are orange while the rhinophore and branchial sheaths are cream. The gills are arranged in a circle. The bi-colored, linear mid-dorsal band of pigment distinguishes it from the yellow form of Doris nucleola. Maximum size 11mm.

Distribution

Widely distributed in the western & central Pacific; possibly in the eastern Pacific.

History and timeline

Doris immonda is known from a single animal found in rubble at about 8 m (27 ft).
