The Rose-myrtle lappet moth, is a moth of the Lasiocampidae family. It is found in south-east Asia, including India, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Java, China, Japan, Hong Kong, and Indonesia. Four subspecies are recognized.

Habitat

Larvae have been reared on ''Populus'' species and also feed on castor, jamun, pomegranate, rose, and sandalwood plants. The Braconid wasp, ''Cotesia trabalae'' is a known parasitoid of the moth.
