$Pair of dragonflies linked together laying eggs in water in tandem Common darter - Sympetrum striolatum Yesterday I witnessed how dragonflies are laying eggs in a pond in tandem. Maybe a dozen linked together pairs flew over the water and diving pendulum-like the female used to dip her tail for a fraction of a second in the water. Unfortunately these were the best photos I could take.
