Komodo dragon encounters on Rinca Indonesia

During our tour through Indonesia we visited the island Rinca. I believe this island has the biggest population of Komodo dragons, even more than the Komodo island itself.

It was quite scary walking around with nothing more than a guide with a wooden stick. Especially since my wife was pregnant at the time and we read they have a particular interest in pregnant animals.

It was also shocking (but interesting) to see how the venom (bacteria) of a single bite had weakened a buffelo that much and all komodo dragon's lying there waiting for it to die.
