Leuconycta diphteroides (Green Leuconycta) Thin red stripe and white stripe along the first three segments after the head and on the final segments as well. Three pale green stripes along the sides of the body. Pale green dots on the body segments, each with a small dark center. A few sparse hairs along the back. Overall body color is green.<br />

The Green Leuconycta Moth or Green Owlet is a species of moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found from Nova Scotia to Florida, west to Texas and north to Saskatchewan.
