  1. Tentatively, I'd say Norape virgo. Matches visually and in distribution. Yours seems to have white legs whilst most examples show black legs, however, I did find a few variations with lighter legs. Posted 5 years ago

''Norape virgo'' is a moth of the Megalopygidae family. It was described by Arthur Gardiner Butler in 1877. It is found from southern Texas and southern Arizona to Colombia.
