  3. Eois dorisaria (described from Costa Rica) and Eois chrysocraspedata (described from Bolivia and known as north as Ecuador) are hardly distinguishable (and perhaps conspecific). E. chrysocraspedata, however, has reddish-brown shadings in the forewings, wich are lacking in E. dorisaria. Because of this, I would think this is E. chrysocraspedata. In any case, if they are eventually regarded as synonyms, E. chrysicraspedata is the oldest name. Posted 5 years ago
