  1. Pitter, as a small note: the species system does not really support subspecies, therefore we usually identify it as the "main" species. Technically it is actually possible to create a sub species record, yet the system will see it as a species, not a subspecies. This is why we usually don't create a separate subspecies record.

    However, you can of course still indicate the subspecies name in the title, like you did.

The red postman is one of about 40 Neotropical species of butterfly belonging to the genus "Heliconius". It is also commonly known as the small postman, the red passion flower butterfly, or the crimson-patched longwing.
